The endosseous jaw implant (1) comprises an anchorage wing (2) which is formed at a central implant body (9). The anchorage wing is formed in the cross sectional wedge-shape. A front edge or a rear side or a gravity axis of the anchoring wing extends away from the implant body. Two opposite anchorage wings are formed at the implant body. An independent claim is also included for a template for inserting a cavity in a jaw bone.
