The present invention relates to a social guarantee service based on trust among online users of an e-commerce service. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for providing a social guarantee service based on trust among users in wired/wireless network communication environments, the method comprising the steps of: (a) receiving a social guarantee request signal intended for a second user terminal from a first user terminal accessing a social guarantee server; (b) the social guarantee server transmitting a social guarantee request message of the first user to the second user terminal; (c) the social guarantee server receiving a social guarantee approval message including personal information from the second user terminal; and (d) the social guarantee server saving the personal information of the second user approving a social guarantee and recording in user information of the first user terminal by adding the number of users approving the guarantee to the first user terminal.
