PURPOSE: A topography classification device and a method thereof are provided to execute video base topography classification on a real time using topography classification parameter according to environmental information which is obtained through a video sensor and an environmental sensor.;CONSTITUTION: A video input part(110) comprises a video sensor module. The video sensor module transmits video information including a static image or moving image to a video processing part(140). An environmental sensor part(120) comprises an environmental sensor including a GPS sensor, an illumination sensor, and a humidity sensor. A storage(130) stores data and program which is necessary for the operation of a topography classification device. The storage stores a parameter data base which is used for controlling the video processing part. The video processing part controls the overall operation of the topography classification device. The video color deflection processes video information which is received through the video sensor module which is included in the video input part.
