GENE AND TRANSFORMANT USED AS AN INDICATOR PLANT IN SALINE SOIL

PURPOSE: A nhaA gene and transformant used as an indicator plant in saline soil is provided to improve susceptibility to salt.;CONSTITUTION: A nhaA gene has a base of sequence number 1. pGEM-T/nhaA is prepared by introducing nhaA gene containing a base of sequence number 1 into pGEM-T vector. A method for preparing a tranformant which is usable as an indicator plant in saline soil comprises: a step of preparing a primer for plant expression of the nhaA gene and performing PCR; a step of introducing the gene into E.coli; a step of preparing a replicable expression vector in Agrobacterium tumefaciens(LBA4404); and a step of inoculating Agrobacterium tumefaciens into a plant.
