PURPOSE: A polymerization reactor for manufacturing a high absorbent resin and a method for manufacturing the high absorbent resin using the same are provided to improve the productivity of the reactor by supplying polymerizing energy over the entire volume of monomer compositions supplied to a conveyor belt.;CONSTITUTION: A polymerization reactor(100) for manufacturing a high absorbent resin includes first and second belt-type polymerization reactors(10, 20). The belt-type polymerization reactors respectively include two or more rotary shafts(12, 22) and conveyor belts(14, 24), and polymerization energy supplying parts(16, 26). The conveyor belts surround the rotary shafts and move to a pre-set direction by the rotation of the rotary shafts. The polymerization energy supplying parts are arranged on the conveyor belts. The belt-type polymerization reactors supply polymerization energy to the first side and the second side of a sheet-type polymerizing gel(60).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
