PURPOSE: A gas hydrate inhibitor is provided to change the phase equilibrium temperature and pressure of a gas hydrate by using a small amount, and to delay the generating time of the gas hydrate by reducing the generating reaction speed of the gas hydrate in the same condition.;CONSTITUTION: A gas hydrate inhibitor comprises the compound of chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 is a straight-chain or branched-chain C1-7 alkyl, a straight-chain or branched-chain C1-7 hydroxyalkyl, a straight-chain or branched-chain C1-7 aminoalkyl, or a straight-chain or branched-chain C1-7 alkoxy, independent from one another. Y- is OH-, Cl-, Br-, I-, CH3COO-, NO3-, or BF4-. A method of inhibiting gas hydrate comprises the step of dissolving the compound of the chemical formula 1 into a solvent and using the same.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
