PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device, manufacturing method thereof, and electronic device are provided to easily control the thickness of a color and a liquid crystal layer by performing the thickness control of a liquid crystal layer.;CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer(113). A plurality of color material layers is formed on the first substrate. The second substrate is arranged in the first substrate. The liquid crystal layer is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate includes gap control layers.
