PURPOSE: A world time display apparatus in portable terminal and method thereof are provided to improve the satisfaction of a user by displaying world time based on AR(Augmented Reality) technology.;CONSTITUTION: A camera unit(106) acquires camera image data. A control unit(100) searches a city corresponding to the location and view point of the camera unit based on a memory unit. The control unit acquires information for the searched city. The control unit synthesizes the acquired camera image data with the acquired city information.
