PURPOSE: A method for stabilizing heavy metal polluted soil using the waste of bone china or oyster shells is provided to stabilize the heavy metal concentration of heavy metal polluted soil to become lower than a pre-set value by grinding the waste and mixing the ground powder with the heavy metal polluted soil.;CONSTITUTION: The waste of oyster shells or bone china is ground. The heavy metal concentration of heavy metal polluted soil is measured. The concentration of the ground powder is determined in a range between 1 and 10 weight%. The ground powder is mixed with the heavy metal polluted soil in order to reduce the heavy metal concentration of the heavy metal polluted soil.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
