PURPOSE: An agent for controlling leaked crude oil is provided to prevent the spreading of leaked crude oil, and to facilitate the collecting thereof.;CONSTITUTION: An agent for controlling leaked crude oil comprises 87 weight% or more of CaO, 1-10 weight% of MgO, 0.1-3 weight% of alkali metal oxide, and the residue of inevitable impurities. The agent for controlling leaked crude oil has powder shape. The particle size of the powder is 5-50 micron. The manufacturing method of the agent for controlling leaked crude oil comprises: a step of manufacturing a mixture by mixing CaO, MgO and an alkali metal oxide; a step of heat-treating of high temperature at 1000-1700 °C for 1-4 hours; and a step of obtaining powder by shattering the outcome.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
