摘要

PURPOSE: A tire pressure monitoring system and an auto location offering method using the same are provided to offer an auto location because a pair of external antennas are used for a tire pressure monitoring system.;CONSTITUTION: A tire pressure monitoring system comprises TPMS sensor modules(11,12,13,14), external antennas(21,22), a TPMS receiver(30). The TPMS sensor module sensors information related to the vehicle tires, thereby transmitting signals. The TMPS sensor modules are respectively installed in the vehicle tires. The external antennas receive the signals from a pair of the TPMS sensor modules transmits. The TPMS receiver measures the strength of the signals received through one or more external antennas. The TPMS receiver distinguish the strongest and secondly strongest signals, thereby decides the location of the TPMS sensor modules.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
