TUNDISH HEATING DEVICE CAPABLE OF REMOVING OXIDE INSIDE A TUNDISH WHILE MAINTAINING THE TEMPERATURE OF THE TUNDISH

PURPOSE: A tundish heating device is provided to eliminate oxide in the air flowing into a tundish by injecting incompletely burned gas into the tundish and heating with an auxiliary burner before injection of molten metal into the tundish.;CONSTITUTION: A tundish heating device comprises a cover unit(10), a preheating burner(20), and an auxiliary burner(30). The cover unit is formed with a molten metal hole for receiving molten metal discharged from a ladle and a plurality of burner holes(11) and auxiliary holes in a vertical direction. The preheating burner is installed in the burner holes of the cover unit, lifted by a transfer device, and preheats the inside of a tundish. The auxiliary burner is inserted in the auxiliary holes of the cover unit, with an end inclined toward the center of the tundish, and implements auxiliary heating with fuel gas.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
