PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a caliper body of floating disc brake and caliper body is provided to control flow of melted resin of molten metal by forming a through-hole at a position of disc rotor in an axial direction.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a caliper body of floating disc brake and caliper body is as follows. The mold (70) is prepared. The through-hole(82A,82B) of the mold is formed in the peripheral direction of the disc rotor corresponding to a claw unit.
