PURPOSE: A system for generating a personalized EPG(Electronic Program Guide) based on key word information and a method thereof are provided to selectively store a keyword of content and generate a personalized EPG in real time based on the stored keyword.;CONSTITUTION: An EPG screen display unit(4010) displays the keyword information of the content received from a server on a screen. A keyword information storing unit(4030) separately stores a selected keyword from the displayed keywords. A keyword information providing unit(4040) offers the stored keyword to a mobile communication terminal.
