WAVE MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MARINE STRUCTURES AT THE OPEN SEA

PURPOSE: Wave monitoring system and method for marine structures at open sea are provided to improve the stability and the efficiency of the wave monitoring system by dispersing complex functions for a wave monitoring process. CONSTITUTION: A wave monitoring system includes a monitoring system(100), an operating system(300), and an analyzing system(600). The monitoring system collects and transfers wave information. The operating system receives the wave information from the monitoring system and saves the received wave information. The received wave information is transferred to the analyzing system. The analyzing system analyzes the wave information in real time and extracts analysis information. The wave monitoring system further includes a back-up system. The back-up system backs up the wave information in response to the back-up request of the operating system.
