METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GRAYISH-BLUE-POWDERED CELADON PORCELAIN AND PORCELAIN MANUFACTURED BY THAT METHOD

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a grayish-blue powdered celadon using a plopping technique and chinawares manufactured by the method are provided to improve decoration technique in order to perfectly copy chinawares produced in southern area of Korea. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a grayish-blue powdered celadon using a plopping technique comprises the following steps: collecting and scraping clay; molding products with the scrapped clay; initial sintering at 700-820 deg. Celsius and decorating; plopping the product with terra alba; painting glaze on the product; and plasticizing thereof. The clay contains china clay which has elvan clay containing iron. A main component of the glaze is a mixture of ash and clay for glazing. In the decoration step, plopping is processed with a plopping solution using white clay.
