TENSION CONTROL APPARATUS OF TENSION LEG PLATFORM TYPE OFFSHORE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A rotary tension adjusting apparatus for a tension leg platform is provided to maintain constant tension of tensile members because tensile force is applied to the tensile member fixed in one edge of a body part. CONSTITUTION: A rotary tension adjusting apparatus for a tension leg platform comprises tension adjusting rotators(100) and driving cylinders(200). The tension adjusting rotators are rotatably and respectively installed in multiple floating bodies(11) and tensile members(W) are fixed in one side of the tension adjusting rotators. The driving cylinders are respectively installed in the multiple floating bodies and are connected to the tension adjusting rotators. As the tension adjusting rotators rotate, the driving cylinders apply constant tensile force to the tensile members. The driving cylinders maintain the constant tension of the tensile members even in case of the change of the sea level(S).
