SURGE PROTECTOR LIFETIME DISPLAYING APPARATUS AND METHOD WHICH USES A CURRENT AND GROUND STATE DETECTING SENSOR

PURPOSE: A surge protector lifetime displaying device and method are provided to inform a user the replacement time of a surge protector by sensing the increase of a leak current due to performance degradation of the surge protector.;CONSTITUTION: A surge protector lifetime displaying device(100) comprises detecting sensors(150-1, 153-1), surge detecting units(150, 153, 155), a controller(110), and display units(180, 190). The detecting sensors sense whether surge is entered in a surge protector or not. The surge detecting units are connected with a surge detection sensor and create surge lead-in existence and nonexistence sense information. The controller receives the surge lead-in existence and nonexistence sense information and determines a current state of the surge protector. The controller creates surge protector state information.
