SMELTING REDUCTANT FOR THE USE OF MOLTEN STAINLESS STEEL AND A SMELTING REDUCTION METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A smelting reduction agent for manufacturing stainless steel and smelting reduction using the same are provided to directly charge a by-product containing valuable metal to an electric furnace, thereby efficiently performing a melting of stainless steel. CONSTITUTION: A smelting reduction agent for manufacturing stainless steel smelting reduces valuable metal being contained in a by-product by using a smelting reduction agent. The smelting reduction agent is pulverized body Perot silicon alloy steel containing iron, silicon, carbon, the aluminum etc. A content of the iron is 40 to 50 weight%. A content of the silicon is 50 to 60 weight%. The valuable metal comprises at least one among lime powder, a chrome oxide, a nickel oxide, a manganese oxide, a silicon oxide and an iron oxide.
