COST BASED SCHEDULING ALGORITHM FOR MULTIPLE WORKFLOW IN CLOUD COMPUTING AND SYSTEM OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cost based scheduling method for multi-workflow in a cloud computing and a system thereof are provided to schedule a task according to a priority for a lower cost, and schedule the task according to a priority for a task having a longer delay time if the costs are same, thereby improving mean makespan and mean availability and MTTR(Mean Time To Recovery). CONSTITUTION: If users submit workflow having QoS(Quality of Service) requirements, a services for workflow processing is allocated, and then service tasks are scheduled according to the QoS requirements and a cloud environment. A task pool(22) manages multi-workflow for a dynamic cloud service. If the workflow having QoS requirements is submitted, the task pool calculates expected execution time and cost of every tasks in order to store the tasks in a cue sheet.
