PURPOSE: A method and system for managing the registration of a gateway and a terminal in an IMS(Internet protocol Multimedia Subsystem) network are provided to syntagmatically manage the terminal and the gateway by adding integrated management information to an SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) header field.;CONSTITUTION: Terminals transmit a registration request message. A call session control unit(150) controls the routing of data transmitted from the terminal. A storage unit(170) stores the registration information of one or more terminals in an IMS network. When the terminal is available by comparing the transmitted registration request message and the stored registration information, a home subscriber server(160) adds the registration information of the terminal to a registration permission message.
