PURPOSE: A method for evaluating performance of removing airborne bacteria of an air cleaner is provided to measure natural reduction of the airborne bacteria and to ensure reliable result. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating performance of removing airborne bacteria of an air cleaner comprises: a step of collecting a sample and measuring natural reduction behavior of the airborne bacteria; a step of driving an air cleaner specimen and removing the airborne bacteria; and a step of correcting the airborne removal test value by natural reduction rate of the airborne bacteria calculated by equation 1.
