PURPOSE: A text conversation supporting apparatus and method thereof are provided to enable a user to search or obtain necessary information in a chatting process without stopping a chatting service. CONSTITUTION: An interface(310) provides a first window to a user. The first window displays first chatting information including text. The interface provides a division menu for the first window or the creation menu of a second window to the user. A control unit(320) controls the interface to provide the second window by responding to the input of the user for the creation menu of the second window or the division menu.
