PURPOSE: A timing controller, a clock synchronization apparatus comprising the same timing controller, and a method for acquiring clock synchronization using the same timing controller in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) communication system are provided to increase the receiving rate by minimizing the symbol interference. CONSTITUTION: A timing adjusting device(100) comprises a clock generating part, a phase adjust signal generating unit, and a clock and phase adjust signal updating unit. The clock generating part generates the same clock signal as the sampling frequency of a transmitter. The phase adjust signal generating unit generates the phase adjust signal(Fraction-D). The clock and phase adjust signal updating unit update a clock and phase adjust signal. The renewal of a clock by the updating unit and phase adjust signal are in the guard symbol section of the OFDM symbol.
