PURPOSE: A device and a method for learning vocabulary efficiently with fewer repetitions are provided to reset the period of a repetitive education in consideration of the degree of knowledge of a vocabulary. CONSTITUTION: In a device and a method for learning vocabulary efficiently with fewer repetitions, a user interface(110) outputs a first vocabulary data among a plurality of vocabulary data to be learned. A database(140) has a plurality of data structure with different data return period. A processing unit(120) selects a first data structure for a first vocabulary data from the plural data structures based on a user input content and a user input timing and stores the first vocabulary data into the first data structure.
