PURPOSE: A transformer which includes a pipe opening/closing valve is provided to reduce costs required for transformer maintenance by preventing transformer damage due to water penetration into the transformer.;CONSTITUTION: A transformer(10) comprises a coil(11) for voltage transformation, insulation oil(I), and a pipe(12). The insulation oil is filled in order to insulate the coil. A respiratory part(30) is connected to one end of the pipe in order to ventilate inside of the transformer. The respiratory part controls pressure and humidity inside of the transformer. A valve(40) is arranged between the pipe and the respiratory part and opens/closes the pipe.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
