PURPOSE: A method for measuring hemorheologic parameters from blood flow is provided to precisely determine and estimate a disease by determining a shear rate from the velocity field of blood flow by using a PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry).;CONSTITUTION: Two blood flow images are photographed and stored at a certain interval for red blood cells flowing in a blood vessel by using a PIV(Particle Image Velocimetry). An instantaneous velocity field is calculated from photographing time interval of the position displacement of the red bloods, which is observed from photographed images, and the two images. A velocity field distribution function of U=f(r), which is a radial coordinate function of a blood vessel, is determined after being curve-fitted from a mean velocity field which is average of a plurality of instantaneous velocity fields. A shear rate is determined from the velocity field distribution function. A disease is diagnosed or estimated by determining a blood hemorheologic characteristic from a determined shear rate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012
