PURPOSE: A simulator for evaluating the quantitative distribution of bypass flow by a block type ultra-high temperature gas is provided to draw experimental data on flow distribution about various block columns and an inter-layer gap by the adjustment of the block columns and the inter-layer gap. CONSTITUTION: A simulator(10) for evaluating the quantitative distribution of bypass flow by a block type ultra-high temperature gas comprises the structure of multi-columns and multi-layers. The simulator comprises a test unit(11) for measuring core bypass flow rate. The simulator comprises a lower cavity(12) for interlinking a blower to the test unit. The test unit comprises a nuclear fuel block including nuclear fuel, a reflector block including a reflector, a shift block, a lower block, a block support, and a gap adjustment block.
