Double Gene Knock-down Method by Feeding RNAi in Caenorhabditis elegans

摘要

A method for inhibiting co-expression of two genes from caenorhabditis elegans is provided to improve accuracy in comparison with an existing screening method. A method for inhibiting co-expression of two genes from caenorhabditis elegans comprises the following steps of: manufacturing a plasmid wherein two kinds of target genes are injected; transforming a Escherichia coli strain using the plasmid; selecting the Escherichia coli strain transformed to the target genes by expressing the target genes; and feeding the transformed Escherichia coli strain to Caenorhabditis elegans. The host strain is Escherichia coli HT115.
