System for animal assisted therapy using gesture control and method for animal assisted therapy

PURPOSE: An animal assisted therapy system using gesture control and animal assisted therapy method are provided to derive communion between treatment animals and a curer using a gesture controller and 3D images and by digitizing the treatment animals. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(200) displays a virtual treatment animal. A gesture controller recognizes and processes 3D gesture of a curer within cognizable range. A voice input/output unit(400) receives sound command of the curer. A curer input unit inputs compensation according to action observation of the curer, reward, and penalty information.
