PURPOSE: A system and a method for purifying polluted soil based on the classification of polluted coarse soil are provided to improve the efficiency of purification by concentrately purifying highly polluted soil of specific diameters.;CONSTITUTION: A system for purifying polluted soil includes a screen(120), a multi-staged hydrocyclone(130), a purifying unit(140), a filtering unit(150), and a used washing water recycling unit(160). The hydrocyclone re-classifies soil through the screen. The purifying unit washes the re-classified soil by diameters using washing water. The filtering unit separately discharges the washed soil and the used washing water.
