PURPOSE: A method for detecting genotoxic substances using genotoxicity induced by diethylstilbestrol is provided to determine the presence of genotoxic substances in cell cycle regulatory genes. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting cell cycle regulatory gene expression comprises: a step of treating a test sample to reproductive cells of a male individual; a step of isolating RNA from an experimental group which is treated with the test sample and a untreated control group; a step of synthesizing cDNAs and labeling the experimental group and control group with different fluorescent materials; a step of hybridizing the cDNAs with a DNA microarray chip; and a step of analyzing the DNA microarray chip.
