Top-opened and pre-stressed concrete-steel composite single span U-type girder bridge and method of constructing the same

PURPOSE: An open type prestressed steel composite single-span bridge with multiple U-shaped girders and a construction method thereof are provided to reduce installation costs by reducing the amount of required steel materials. CONSTITUTION: An open type prestressed steel composite single-span bridge with multiple U-shaped girders comprises U-shaped steel girders, one or more linear sheath pipes(250), lower concrete(270), strands(260), and upper slab concrete(300). The front and rear ends of the U-shaped steel girders are placed on first and second abutments of a single-span girder bridge. The linear sheath pipes are arranged on a prestressed section of the bridge, and both ends thereof have anchorages. The lower concrete is placed on a steel lower flange of the prestressed section. The strands are inserted into the sheath pipes, and both ends thereof are fixed to the anchorages to apply prestress to the lower concrete. The upper slab concrete is placed on the upper flanges and left and right planes of the U-shaped steel girders. [Reference numerals] (AA) Cross section of cut line F-F
