FIELD: process engineering.;SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises build-up and plastic deformation of machined surface. Surface plastic deformation is carried out simultaneously with cutting. Note here that machining is performed by cutting tool and reeling tool cooled by cutting compound in their combined travel along heated part surface. Note also that temperature in cutting and reeling tool working zone makes 500…600°C, total stride of both tools makes 0.2…0.4 mm per one revolution of part, cutting depth does not exceed 4 mm, while reeling tool force on surface varies from 1.2 to 1.5 kN.;EFFECT: reduced labor input, higher surface quality.;1 dwg
