The way of production of environmentally responsible petrol with the octane value 92-93 according to the research method includes the stage of DME synthesis from the synthesis gas in the reactor for oxygenate synthesis; the vapour-gas mixture from the reactor for oxygenate synthesis without their transitional separation from unreacted components goes to the stage of hydrocarbon synthesis from DME that is performed with the presence of the accelerant based on zeolite of pentasil type containing zinc oxide and palladium; then the contacting mixture goes to the separators where it is divided into water, hydrocarbon and gas matters; the gas matter is divided into two flows; the first flow feeds back to the reactor for oxygenate synthesis (thus resulting in dimethyl ether).; EFFECT: improvement of the petrol quality due to reduction of durene content, increase of selectance related to C5+,, increase in the process performance, possibility to use the synthesis gas of practically any composition in order to get high-grade petrol.;4 cl, 2 tbl, 9 ex
