METHOD OF BEE FAMILY KEEPING AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALISATION

FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: invention is related to bee keeping, in particular, to the technology of bee family keeping. The method of bee family keeping in double-cased beehives in the wild includes preparation of a lower case for wintering, installation of partition frames into the upper case for storage of honey, for this purpose during the swarming season, while the lower case is empty, a wintering chamber is installed into the upper case, and the swarm is placed in it. After filling with honey the wintering chamber is withdrawn from the upper case, having previously installed the partition frames in the lower body, which are also withdrawn on completion of honey yield. In autumn frames with low honey content are grouped in the lower case, and the wintering chamber is installed on them. The double-cased beehive comprises cases and partition frames. In spring and pre-winter periods the upper case is equipped with the wintering chamber, which is shaped as a prism or a cylinder. Inside the wintering chamber there is a cavity with a lower hole for entrance of bees and a ceiling. The space between walls of the chamber and cavities are filled with insulant. The chamber is pierced with wooden rods arranged in a horizontal manner at a different height in staggered order.;EFFECT: provision of reliable wintering for weak bee families in the wild under conditions of middle and cold latitudes.;3 cl, 7 dwg
