The system (100) has a drip-tray type supporting structure (110) for retaining and fastening an infrared panel heater (10), and consisting of a rear wall, side walls (112) and mounting posts. A blend construction (120) is provided with a circulating lateral diaphragm (121) for covering a circulating air gap along an outer edge of the infrared panel heater. Attachment strips (101) i.e. mounting plates, are provided for mounting at a rear side of the infrared panel heater. The attachment strips comprise slots (103) for mechanically fastening at the respective mounting posts.
