The wheel i.e. multi-stage calendar indexing wheel (12), has a toothed mobile part (12') provided with a homogeneous integral peripheral tooth system containing sixteen teeth in a first meshing plane. First, second and third gear sectors (29, 30, 31) are rotatably integrated with the toothed mobile part, and engage in a second meshing plane, a third meshing plane and a fourth meshing plane, respectively. The first, second and third gear sectors are superposed with a first tooth (29''), a second tooth (30'') and a third tooth (31'') of the toothed mobile part, respectively.
