The method involves soaking dry, soak-mature timber with water enriched with air up to maximum saturation based on required level of compensation, where initial vacuum amounts between 30 kilo Pascal and 45 kilo Pascal. A reaction phase at temperatures between 5 degree Celsius and 60 degree Celsius is determined under prevention of a drying process based on compensation degree. Compatible wood preservatives with certain properties e.g. color, shape retention, organisms or weather influences, are added to sapwood.
