The anchor (1) has a support bracket connected with an inner shell (2) of a building structure (3) over a connecting link (4) restraining heat flow. The link is made of material with low heat conductance and high compression strength and designed as a thick-walled plate (5). A metal-ring is molded at an abutment surface of the link. Projections of the link are connected with the inner shell in a form-fit manner. The link comprises another abutment surface for a wedge washer (10) of the support bracket. The link is connected with an installation plate and made of epoxy resin and foam glass. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a facade anchor.
