The power station (2) has storage reservoirs (1) provided for soft water and supplying the soft water to the power station in a controlled manner when the soft water is necessary for power generation. An opening region of a soft water-guiding stream (3) is separated from waterbody (4) with high salt contents by an embankment (5) such that the stream forms the storage reservoirs for the soft water in opening region. Outflow of the storage reservoirs is connected with the waterbody over the power station. The storage reservoirs are formed by islands or parts of bank line of mainland (8).
