The lamp (13) has a housing (1) with a bar (3) for fastening a lens (2). A light guard (6) is arranged in a space that encloses an outer surface of the lens from the housing. A light emitting unit (7) comprises a light source i.e. LED (8), where light emitted from the light emitting unit is injected into the light guard. The bar of the housing defines a region (A) that is not observed by the lens from outside, where the light emitting unit is arranged within the region. The bar of the housing comprises a welding bed, and the lens is welded to the bar of the housing.
