A hand-held power tool interface (14) e.g. network interface, that is separable by an operator is provided to contact two different types of hand-held power tools (16). The hand-held power tool interface comprises a data transmission channel (18) that is utilized for transmission of data between the computing unit and the hand-held power tools.
