The adjuster has a rail moved relative to another rail along an axial direction. A bolting device (20) comprises a spindle (21) that extends in the axial direction, and a spindle nut (36) that is attached to the former rail. The spindle comprises circular channels (21c), which rotate relative to the axial direction and a circumferential direction. A ball is rotated in a retainer of the nut. The spindle co-acts with the circular channels and the spindle nut via a segment of the spindle nut. The spindle and the nut are bolted with each other in bolting condition.
