Control method for stator and rotor in electric machine that is utilized in pure electric car and hybrid vehicles, involves reducing reference torque by torque value if one of reference values reaches or exceeds corresponding maximum values
The method involves making reference values for stator and rotor currents (Is.ref, If.ref), where the reference value for the stator current and the reference value for the rotor current or an auxiliary parameter representing the reference value of the stator current and an auxiliary parameter representing the reference value of the rotor current is dependent on predefined reference torque (Tref). The reference torque is reduced by a torque value if one of the reference values reaches or exceeds corresponding maximum values (Is.max, If.max). An independent claim is also included for a control device comprising a memory unit.
