The damper (100) has a fastening region for fastening an impact absorber (145) at a wiper shaft (140) of a windscreen wiper device of a motor car (105), where the damper is manufactured by a single piece made of deformation elements i.e. plastic. A crash region connects a deformable absorption region with the fastening region, where the crash region is turned to a person (170). The absorption region comprises a spring portion. The spring portion is formed with a break section by reducing material thickness of the absorption region.
