The tidal power plant is formed by a terrace pit in a continental shelf along a sea coast. Each terrace (13) is installed by a hydropower plant section (7). The flood water is transferred to water storage tanks (4,12) through pipes (5), from which the water is transferred to water turbines through down pipes (6).
