The transport carriage has a cleaning device (3) that includes cleaning element which is arranged at handle (2) used for moving undercarriage. A reservoir (5) is coupled with cleaning element for storing disinfectant liquid. The cleaning device is soaked in disinfectant liquid and moved over surface of handle along relative movement direction (8). A friction portion is formed between surface of handle and cleaning element. The cleaning device is positioned on surface of handle after movement of cleaning device along relative movement direction. An independent claim is included for method for cleaning transport carriage.
