The carriage (1) has support stamps (3) laterally displaced and lowered on ground, where a protection device i.e. protection grid, protects a person against fall from a building roof. The protection device comprises a wall or a slat wall (9), which is set on a roof or an accessory for the roof. The wall or a slat wall comprises a lower longitudinal strut (13), an upper longitudinal strut (15) and a diagonal strut (17). The wall or the slat wall is provided with a rubber lip at a lower edge of the slat wall. The lip forms a hollow space with cross-sectional dimensions between 8 cm and 20 cm.
