The method involves exporting developed symbols i.e. point-shaped map signatures, from a basic-geographical information system to another data format by using symbol data. The symbols are represented in blocks that consist of basic elements, text, lines, polylines, hachures, points and attributes. The symbol data is represented in a AutoCAD(RTM: CAD software application).
